Privacy policy
How Nexo Calendar accesses and handles Google Calendar data.

Data accessed
When you choose to connect an account, Nexo requests read-only access to your Google Calendar list and event details. This can include event titles, times, locations, descriptions, calendar names, colors, and links needed to display events in the app. Nexo does not request permission to create, edit, or delete calendar data.
How data is used
Google Calendar data is used only to show your calendars and events in Nexo’s calendar pages and event details. Nexo does not use this data for advertising, sell it, or use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
Storage and sharing
The Google access token is kept in memory while needed and is not written to persistent storage or sent to Nexo’s Gateway. Calendar and event data from the most recent successful sync may be cached in encrypted form using Android Keystore-backed AES-GCM in Nexo’s private app storage. Nexo does not send Google Calendar data to its Gateway, Notion, advertising, or analytics providers. Nexo sends requests to Google to read the data you authorized; Google processes those requests under Google’s own privacy terms.
Retention and control
The encrypted local cache remains on your device until Nexo replaces it during a later sync or you clear Nexo’s app data or uninstall the app. You can revoke Nexo’s Google account access at Google Account permissions. After revocation, connect again only if you want Nexo to resume reading your calendar.
Security
Nexo uses Google’s OAuth authorization flow and requests the minimum read-only calendar permissions needed for the feature. Local calendar cache data is encrypted and stored in app-private storage. No method of electronic storage is completely risk-free, but Nexo does not maintain a server-side copy of your Google Calendar data.
